Blandy & Blandy advises on sale of Hireserve to XCD
Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy's corporate and commercial team has advised on the sale of Basingstoke-based recruitment software company Hireserve to XCD, the cloud-based HR and Payroll software provider.
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Bristol, XCD has grown to have over 30,000 users across 35 countries of its Salesforce powered services. The strategic acquisition of Hireserve, made possible by a further £3 million injection from investors BGF, is part of the company’s goal to expand its capacity and offering for both new and existing customers.
Jeremy Ovenden, joint-MD of Hireserve, said: "We are thrilled to be joining with XCD. The vision and leadership that XCD brings to Hireserve will unlock even greater opportunities for both our people and our clients. We are incredibly proud of what our dedicated team have built over the last two decades, and are now delighted to have found an organisation which shares our values and belief in Hireserve. We look forward to seeing the next stage of Hireserve’s journey as part of the XCD portfolio."
David Few (pictured), a partner in Blandy & Blandy’s corporate and commercial team, advised on the deal, supported by Emma Ford.
He said: "It was a pleasure to work with Jeremy and Karen on the successful sale of the company, which had been successfully built over many years into a dynamic and successful business. We naturally wish them every good fortune and look forward to working with them again in the future."
