Worcester company celebrates 30 years of delivering the goods
Home delivery and warehousing specialist ArrowXL is celebrating three decades at its Worcester depot.
Since launching in 1994, the company has delivering to millions of households across the UK.
Despite a catastrophic fire in 2017, three floods, other weather-related emergencies, industrial disputes and the global pandemic, its Worcester depot has played a central role in the company’s growth.
The team has also won awards from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, the National Courier Awards and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA).
ArrowXL Commercial Manager Stuart Stock said: “I started with ArrowXL in the same year as the Worcester site opened, along with several of my colleagues and together we’ve survived a number of disasters and celebrated some incredible successes at the site.
“This huge milestone is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our team and their commitment to delivering exceptional service for our customers.”
ArrowXL Chief Executive Charlie Shiels added: “Our Worcester depot has seen significant challenges and developments over the years, including operational expansions, sustainability initiatives, and investments in state-of-the-art technology to enhance efficiency and environmental responsibility.
“It continues to operate as a key hub within our national network, and contributes to the company’s reputation as a leading delivery partner.
“We remain committed to driving innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction and will continue to invest in our people, technology, and infrastructure to ensure the Worcester depot remains a vital part of our operations for many more years to come.”
