Top 100 South West law firm goes for growth with new hire

Law firm Thrings has taken on a new head of business development, as part of a drive for growth.
Jo Campbell, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the legal sector, joins the Top 100 firm which has offices in Bath, Bristol, Romsey, Lydney, Ross-on-Wye, Swindon, and London.
Starting her career as a receptionist in a two-partner firm, Jo went on to become a paralegal while training as a legal executive and qualified as a solicitor in 2002.
Specialising in personal injury law, she became known for her ability to build trusting relationships with clients and has spent the past 15 years with a top 100 law firm, where she focused on growth and developing commercial opportunities.
A long-standing Bristol Law Society council member, Jo also plays an active part in promoting the interests and concerns of the legal profession.
In her new role as Head of Business Development, Jo will use her award-winning legal experience collaborating with teams across Thrings to expand the firm’s external presence and drive growth.
As well as day-to-day interaction with clients and contacts to develop opportunities, she will be introducing a new programme for client listening and managing key client accounts
