Ryanair to offer three more routes from Bournemouth Airport next year

Low-cost airline Ryanair is to take off to three more destinations in Europe from Bournemouth Airport next year, it was reported.
The Irish airline will fly a new service to the city of Chania on the Greek island of Crete. There will also be a route to the Greek island of Rhodes and to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. Tickets are on sale now.

Flights to Chania will operate on Mondays and Saturdays from June 2 next year.
Rhodes will operate Wednesdays and Sundays from June 1 and Fuerteventura on Tuesdays and Fridays from April 1, the airport in Dorset confirmed.
It means that Ryanair is offering 23 destinations, in all, from Hurn next year - its biggest ever schedule from the airport.
"The Greek islands and Canaries are always hugely popular and have been a mainstay of our schedules for many years," said Bournemouth airport managing director Steve Gill.
"The addition of these three twice-weekly destinations with Ryanair, including a brand new route to Chania, means local people will have even more choice and flexibility for their summer breaks."
Earlier this month, it was reported that Bournemouth Airport had seen a surge in summer passenger numbers, with 840,210 people using the airport between April and October this year - up almost 103,000 on the year prior.
It puts it on track to surpass a million passengers in 2024, which it hasn’t achieved since 2008.
The airport has also made a multimillion-pound investment to begin hosting Jet2.com and Jet2holidays flights for the first time in February next year.
Jet2’s launch, which was brought forward two months in response to demand, will introduce 20 routes across Europe, the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean.
