Family-run business Raw Pet Food Pantry continues to grow and is opening a larger and improved store on Lee on Solent High Street on November 24.

The business, run by couple Wayne Collins and Aimee Cross, started life in a small retail unit at Shedfield Equestrian Centre in Southampton, back in 2016 but expanded quickly. It took on a 100 sq foot unit at the same location in August, 2021.

And in March 2022, the firm took residence on Lee on Solent High Street with a second shop, introducing a new venture to the business, The Groomers. But it has now outgrown that premises too and has taken a new unit just a few doors up.

Its new retail space is no less than 925 sq ft allowing for larger ranges and has a much bigger freezer capacity for its selection of over nine different frozen raw food brands.

There is also a much larger, state-of-the-art grooming salon with space for up to four groomers!

Aimee said: "This is such an exciting time for us. This new, larger store enables us to stock a greater selection of the products we know our customers want and need helping them to shop locally.

"We wholeheartedly support the need to keep our high streets alive and investing in this new location for our business is testament to our commitment to the Lee community."

She added that her beloved three-year-old cocker spaniel Stella also featured "larger than life" on the shop front.

The opening of the new store will also coincide with the well-known 'Christmas in Lee' event, when the high street closes and is decorated with festive stalls and entertainment.

"We ran our Santa Paws Grotto at Christmas in Lee last year and it went down a storm!" said Aimee.

"With over 100 dogs passing through the grotto receiving a treat pack and toy, we proved that Santa visits are not just for children!

"This year we have invited Mother Christmas to join us to sing and entertain the children while their pups wait patiently to see the Big Man himself!

"It is so much fun and a perfect way to celebrate the growth and success of our business, and the opening of our new shop."

Tickets are £7(+ booking fee) per dog and are available via Eventbrite HERE or by going into one of the Raw Pet Food Pantry stores, either in Lee on Solent or in the Shedfield store at Shedfield Equestrian Centre.
