The initiative has already been trialled with a first meet up at Southsea near Portsmouth this month. attended by Sole Sisters, Yoga with Emily and the Recovery Swimming Club - all based in the region.

"I’ve set up PortaSauna X to be a vibrant gathering space for like-minded enthusiasts who cherish outdoor activities and wellness," said Boon.

“The plan is to bring people together through these groups to enable them to relax, boost their wellbeing, enjoy the outdoors and enjoy the benefits of a sauna.

"We hosted our first one in early June at the beach at Southsea and had an incredible day. The aim is to roll it out across the UK and we already have interest from groups in Weymouth and The Wirral in Merseyside.

"Currently there are about 30 different groups from across the country interested in being involved with PortaSauna X and it would be great to be able to bring them all together at some stage."

Boon, who has used social media to raise awareness, launched his portable sauna business earlier this year, He and business partner Harry Beardsley will be hosting a series of PortaSauna X events for groups to attend, relax and boost their mental wellbeing.

He wants to partner with outdoor groups, including sea swimmers, mental health advocates, and outdoor fitness enthusiasts.

He has also designed PortaSauna X apparel, where clubs can add their own logo, which is only for community members. For more information, click HERE.
