Oxfordshire business grant scheme opens tomorrow for ONE DAY ONLY
The Oxfordshire Kickstart Grant Scheme will open for applications from Oxfordshire's businesses for one day only at 10am on 1 October 2020.
In July 2020 the government announced two new packages of support to help existing and established businesses across England get back on track. Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) is responsible for allocating these funds through two new grant schemes named Kickstart. The Kickstart grant scheme is open to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and is split into two streams:
- Funding specifically aimed at tourism and hospitality-related businesses that depend on income from the visitor economy; and
- Funding available to any small or medium-sized business impacted by the pandemic.
The Kickstart grant scheme is to help businesses which have been affected by COVID-19 to deal with the impacts of the pandemic and access specialist professional advice, equipment or technology to rebuild and support a quick recovery.
OXLEP is anticipating this to a very competitive grant round and the application window will close at 5pm, or when 250 applications are received.
Grant guidance, FAQ’s and a Grant Guidance Webinar are available on the OxLEP Business website to answer any questions you may have on eligibility and how to apply https://www.oxfordshirelep.com/business/funding-grants.
