A new piece of artwork has reportedly been unveiled this month at Slough Trading Estate as part of a project to transform perceptions of the Berkshire town.

The work called ‘A Journey of Ambition and Growth' was commissioned by SEGRO, the owner of Slough Trading Estate, and carried out by local artist Lana Okhrits.

Its unveiling took place on November 13, attended by The High Sheriff of the County of Berkshire, along with council members and business representatives.

The Re-imagine Slough initiative has already reportedly seen ten murals installed around the town, aiming for people to see Slough as a "centre of opportunity and creativity".

"We are thrilled to see this mural inspire and uplift all who live and work here," Re-imagine Slough leader Vineet Vijh was quoted as saying.

"This project embodies our commitment to transforming Slough into a place of pride, where residents feel inspired by standout features that reflect the character and potential of our community."

Western Corridor head at SEGRO, Anna Bond, reportedly added that the group had aimed to "create a visual embodiment of our values, highlighting our commitment to sustainability and our investment in local communities".
