Zoe White has been appointed the new finance director at Gloucester-based climate considerate builder Newland Homes.

The move is part of a planned transition to streamline leadership roles, enhance operational efficiency and provide additional support to the managing director David Foreman, who founded the company in 1991.

He said: "Zoe’s expertise in financial management aligns perfectly with our vision for the future and we’re grateful to have her on our team.

"She will strengthen our executive oversight function, helping to ensure we can continue to deliver pioneering low and zero carbon homes across the region."

White added: "Newland Homes is an innovative company whose ethical values strongly resonate with mine.

"This new role offers the autonomy and flexibility to refine the robust systems already in place and make them even more effective.

"I aim to bring an element of ‘PLC-thinking’ to complement the company’s established culture. The company’s exceptional staff retention rates - rare in the property industry - are a testament to this strong culture."

White has previously held key financial positions for brands such as Crest Nicholson, Robert Hitchins and Lafarge Plasterboard (now Siniat).

In 2020, she was instrumental in establishing a new division of Countryside Properties in Bristol, which subsequently merged with Vistry Group in 2022.

Newland Homes has eight developments underway across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and Bristol. Its zero carbon homes use renewable technologies for heat and power.
