Kent's Bathroom Brands Group buys Showerwall out of administration

Kent-based Bathroom Brands Group has acquired Showerwall out of administration from appointed administrators FRP Advisory for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition includes the firm's head office and production facility in Stoke-on-Trent as well as IP and all stocks relating to Showerwall.
In addition, 19 employees across production, sales and marketing who are focused on Showerwall will transfer across to Bathroom Brands Group, under the TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) directive.
It means the successful Showerwall brand will now sit alongside the group's defined portfolio of bathroom product brands, which include Crosswater, Burlington, Britton & Clearwater Interiors.
The Kent firm said it wants to build a portfolio of design-led brands, which provide complete bathroom interiors solutions and the Showerwall brand will join this line up.
CEO of Bathroom Brands Group Stephen Ewer said: "We’re delighted to welcome Showerwall to the Bathroom Brands Group.
"Showerwall has a great team with so many similarities in culture and aspirations, their experience and continuity to the Showerwall brand are very welcome in the group.
"A growing and enviable brand with great products within a growing sector of the market will only add to our strength for the future."
Alastair Massey, joint administrator and partner at FRP Advisory, added: "I am very pleased to finalise this sale of assets and see the Showerwall team and business find a new home with a group that shares a common vision."
International Decorative Surfaces (IDS), the parent company of Showerwall, recently fell into administration.
