Indie Oxford Christmas market back again this year
The Indie Oxford Christmas market is coming back again for the third time this year at the Tap Social taproom in Botley on November 23.
Independent Oxford and social enterprise Tap Social Movement have teamed up again for the event, which celebrates the county's businesses.
Traders this year include LORDS Fragrance House, Leafology, Rainbow and Spoon, Sitaarah, Jampuppy Design, Custom Made, Jessie’s Art Shed, Etta Rain Ceramics, Caper, Crafty Maze, The Oxford Soap Company, Annabel’s Patisserie, Miller & Jeeves, Sally-Anne Stewart Linocut Prints, Amy Surman Jewellery and The Oxford Weaving Studio.
Tap Social Movement is a craft brewery and social enterprise, which provides support, training, and employment for people in prison.
It regularly hosts local artists, food vendors, social enterprises, and other organisations at The Market Tap in the Covered Market and the taproom on Botley Road.
"The Indie Oxford Christmas Market is one of my favourite events." said Tess Taylor, co-founder and director at Tap Social Movement.
"The Tap Room is transformed into a winter wonderland and it's the perfect opportunity to get some Christmas shopping sorted with gifts from independent makers and local suppliers."
A kids craft corner will be hosted by local children's activity and holiday camp provider, House of Fun and social impact gym The Project PT is also running family friendly activities at the market, which runs from 11am to 5pm.
Independent Oxford is a community for Oxfordshire businesses, which aims to help more people see the value and positive impact of local businesses.
