Chippenham-based V12 Footwear has become the latest company to join Hartpury University and College in Gloucestershire’s Kick Start Campaign, announcing a new commercial partnership starting this autumn.
V12’s range of safety workwear boots offer protection and comfort for a range of environments including agriculture, building sites and construction settings. The family-owned company invests extensive time and resources into product development and rigorous testing, delivering durable footwear that exceeds the most stringent of safety standards to ensure that their safety footwear protects when needed most.
Charlie Turner, Marketing Director at V12, said: “We are so excited to be partnering with Hartpury, on a journey to help support, grow and educate the oncoming generations.
“The institute is hugely respected for a number of specialist faculties including sport and agriculture and with agriculture still one of the highest risk industries in Britain, we are committed to continuing to raise awareness on the importance of safety at work.”
He added: “This is only the start of the partnership journey and there are so many exciting things lined up in the coming months, watch this space.”
New for 2021, the Hartpury Kick Start Campaign offers sponsorship, commercial and social value partnership opportunities across the outstanding sporting academies at Hartpury.
More than 20 England Under-20s and 10 senior England squad members have come through Hartpury’s rugby programme. A number of other players have also earned full-time 7s and full-time 15s contracts. Hartpury’s sporting credentials were also on show during this summer’s Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games with 30 athletes and officials in action across multiple sports.
Stuart Emmerson, Director of Business Development at Hartpury, said: “Hartpury University and Hartpury College are delighted to collaborate with V12 Footwear.
“This partnership goes beyond purely commercial interests. It’s about community development, nurturing talent and investing in facilities for the next generation of talent to thrive.
“It’s a real privilege to have a company like V12 on-board,” he added.
The Kick Start Campaign consists of sponsorship package opportunities covering sports academies such as equine, modern pentathlon, rowing, football and more. Each package comes with a variety of benefits including prominent brand exposure, access to facilities at Hartpury, and commercial social value opportunities.

Brothers  Ben and Andrew Turner launched V12 Footwear as 5th generation shoemakers, more than 20 years ago.  The Turner family still own and run the family business.

The Southern Enterprise Awards recently named V12 Footwear as 2020's ‘Best Industrial Footwear Company’.
