Gloucester headquartered Nutrition X announces new partnership with Scottish Rugby Union

Sports nutrition brand Nutrition X, based in Gloucester has been announced as the official performance supplement partner to Scottish Rugby in a new three-year deal.

Nutrition X, will be fuelling the entirety of the Scotland national teams (men, women, 7s programmes and U20s) as official performance supplement partners, as well as Glasgow Warriors and the FOSROC Super6 clubs.

The partnership will not just cover the provision of performance supplements tailored to the demands of elite rugby but will also cover an extensive education programme to ensure that players are maximising their ability to develop, perform and recover.

Alongside incorporating their Informed-Sport accredited supplements into each of the players' nutritional strategies, the partnership with Scottish Rugby will see an extensive education programme undertaken. The Nutrition X team of world-leading performance nutritionists will be working closely with the clubs to ensure that players are maximising their ability to develop, perform and recover effectively.

This will include specific research projects that will target their ability to train and recovery optimally through fuelling, adding further to the extensive research already underway within Scottish Rugby's High-Performance department.
