Gatwick Airport's Vagabond Wines sites sold to Airport Retail Enterprises
The two remaining operations of the chain Vagabond Wines Ltd at Gatwick Airport have been sold to Airport Retail Enterprises (UK) Limited (ARE) in a deal, which secures ongoing jobs for all 122 staff across the two sites, said business advisory firm Quantuma.
The latter's managing directors Andrew Andronikou and Brian Burke were appointed joint administrators of Vagabond Wines, which was established in 2009, in March this year.

The sale of nine Vagabond sites to retailer Majestic Wines (Majestic) was completed on April 2 this year.
"I am delighted to have achieved such great outcomes, which all told means the preservation of in excess of 300 jobs," said Andrew Andronikou.
"Both acquirers are well positioned to provide funding and operational expertise to support the next phases of profitable growth for the businesses."
The Vagabond Wines rescue is the latest matter which Andronikou and Burke have been engaged on.
Previous assignments, said Quantuma, have included advising on Leon Restaurants CVA, dealing with the designer fashion brand Ralph & Russo and the rescue of women’s clothing retailer Select.
