A Dorset-based independent coffee supplier is on track to reach the £1 million milestone, celebrating four years of impressive growth since starting as a small SME.

Say Coffee, operating from Arena Offices in Ferndown, has seen rapid success since its founding in 2020 and is now projected to generate £1 million in annual revenue.

Owner Jeffrey Barnacle, who launched the company after facing redundancy during the 2020 pandemic, took a bold step in establishing Say Coffee. After previously working at Arena Offices, he moved into his own office space at the Ferndown location.

Now a supplier to both local and national clients, Say Coffee's customer base includes notable names such as Ocean Automotive, Your Local Garden Centre Group, Office Groceries, Hoopers Department Stores, Sandown Mercedes-Benz, Tottenham Hotspur FC, Wimborne Town FC and Daish Hotels.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the coffee industry, Jeffrey reflected on his journey, saying, "Starting my own business was daunting, but I always encourage anyone with a dream to take that big step. Looking back at the early days, I’m amazed by how far we’ve come."

He added, "Arena Offices has been integral to my growth. They were one of my first clients, and the team at the Ferndown office feels like an extension of my own family. The positive working environment with Arena has made a significant impact on Say Coffee, its suppliers, and customers."

Marketing director of Arena Offices Helen Deverill said: “We’re committed to nurturing SMEs like Say Coffee to grow into larger companies. We saw Jeffrey’s vision and know just how important It is for every size business to work in an uplifting environment, where success is part of the everyday.

“It’s wonderful to see Jeffrey enjoying success. He’s truly passionate about his business, and hitting the magic million is an incredible achievement. Plus, his coffee tastes great!”

With locations across Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and Dorset, Arena Offices provide diverse workspaces for businesses to collaborate and perform.
