Gloucester Food Dock is to sponsor the elite womens’ Gloucester rugby team.

In a year when the World Cup is coming to the UK, the Food Dock have chosen to work with Gloucester Hartpury to shine a light on the many outstanding individuals in the team and sponsor each  Player of the Match.

Sarah Mansfield, Director of the Food Dock, said: “ Gloucester Hartpury Women’s RFC is one of the most successful women’s teams in the country across all sports. These athletes inspire and influence how women are seen in Gloucester and beyond.  We are excited to be part of that journey. Elite female athletes sustain a number of life commitments and have amazing drive and determination and high levels of organisation as well as their natural skill.  They really are impressive individuals and strong role models.”

James Forrester, CEO of Gloucester-Hartpury Women’s RFC said “Gloucester Hartpury is really proud to have secured a partnership with the Food Dock, one of the county’s most up and coming brands and one that is known for its quality of delivery in line with our values.

"This partnership is more than just sponsorship; it's about supporting these exceptional athletes both on and off the pitch. We're delighted the deal will offer the players a series of educational workshops at the Food Dock, covering everything from healthy cooking techniques to the art of coffee making. This is part of our commitment to creating engaging content that not only showcases their athletic prowess but also highlights their well-rounded lives. We believe this collaboration will inspire others and further enhance the positive image of female athletes.

"Many of our athletes and students from Hartpury already visit the Food Dock, where Scandinavian Coffee Pod is a particular favourite, and we all look forward to spending a lot more time there”.

The Food Dock will be hosting activities for the players across the season including a meet the players’ event.  Watch out for what they get up to and how you can get involved on social media.
