Dorset's DJ Property appoints industry professional to manage its portfolio

Weymouth-based DJ Property has named industry professional Richard Norgrove as its new property director, where he will manage and develop the Dorset-based company's portfolio.
Chartered surveyor Norgrove was property director at Hortons' Estate - one of Birmingham’s most established property dynasties - for 13 years.
There, he managed an extensive portfolio of retail, leisure, office, and industrial properties across the Midlands.
After relocating to the south coast, he served as head of real estate at Meyrick Estate Management, overseeing significant property and land holdings across Bournemouth, the New Forest, and Anglesey.
Mickey Jones, CEO of DJ Property, said: "We’re delighted Richard is joining the DJ Property team.
"His extensive expertise and strategic approach to property management make him an invaluable addition as we continue to grow and strengthen our portfolio.
"Richard’s commitment to high standards and community-focused development aligns perfectly with our mission to support South Dorset’s businesses, creating quality spaces that foster a sense of community and enable local enterprises to thrive."
Norgrove added: "With my experience in development and managing substantial property portfolios, I look forward to enhancing the strategic development of DJ Property’s assets, creating adaptable spaces that meet the evolving needs of South Dorset’s business community."
Norgrove will be based at DJ Property’s head office in Oxford Court, Granby Trading Estate, Weymouth.
