Contact lens manufacturer CooperVision is set to move into a new 107,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility, once it's developed, at Adanac Park in Southampton, Hampshire.

The Southampton office of real estate giant CBRE advised the company on the acquisition of a new technical, commercial and business hub.

Following an extensive search, CooperVision set on Adanac Park, which provides a strategic location with excellent road communications.

"This agreement is the culmination of several years of hard work on all sides, in a very complex transaction," said James Brounger, head of CBRE Southampton.

"CooperVision needed a new facility with specific requirements, which weren’t available in the area.

"We’re delighted to have found a location and developer that has been able to meet those needs. CooperVision is a key employer in the south and we are proud to continue to partner with them in their plans to develop a best-in-class facility."

New York-listed CBRE Group is a Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company headquartered in Dallas. It has more than 130,000 employees (including Turner & Townsend employees) serving clients in more than 100 countries.

CooperVision, a division of CooperCompanies, also US-listed, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of contact lenses.
