CBRE Bristol team poised to relocate to award-winning EQ development
Real estate giant CBRE has relocated its south west and Wales team from Clifton to the award-winning EQ development in Victoria street, Bristol.
CBRE’s project management team will be managing the fit out of the workspace - 7,500 sq ft on the first floor - and the move is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2025.
The Clifton team has seen its recent headcount grow to over 90 from 50.
EQ, developed by CEG, has been recognised as the British Council for Offices' (BCO) best commercial workplace in the south west.
It is the first building in the world to achieve SmartScore Gold accreditation and is also certified WiredScore Platinum, highlighting its exceptional connectivity and smart building features.
Tom Morris, managing director of the Midlands and South at CBRE, said: "This relocation marks an exciting new chapter for our Bristol team.
"The EQ development’s outstanding sustainability credentials and leading amenities align perfectly with what our people are seeking from a workplace.
He added: "This is an exciting time for the city of Bristol, and we’re excited to be growing alongside it. We’re a people-first business, and the EQ building gives us the perfect location to collaborate with our clients and build our network.
"Our team in the South West has nearly doubled in the last five years, so it was only right that we relocated to an office that meets the ambitions of our growing team."
