Buckinghamshire developer launches new sustainable property investment arm

Pearcroft Invest is the new investment arm of Buckinghamshire-based developer Pearcroft Homes and offers people the chance to put capital into carbon neutral homes across the South East.
Investment opportunities include five detached homes in Buckinghamshire, 14 in Thame, Oxfordshire, five houses in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, and one in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire.
According to the house builder, a range of investment packages are available, including regular payments from £250 per month, lump sums over £5,000, or tailored options for those with more than £5m.
Investors’ equity combines with standard bank loans to finance the properties with potential returns ranging from 8 to 20 per cent annually.
Martyn Balm, managing director and co-founder of Pearcroft Homes, said: "Thanks to higher energy efficiency, lower operational costs, and compliance with future environmental regulation, the demand for sustainable homes has grown significantly within the last few years.
"Where there’s a large demand but low supply, Pearcroft Invest offers the potential for high capital growth and the chance to create a positive environmental impact.
"Although every development is unique, our funding model is focused on maximising returns," he added.
"We only source land and opportunities in areas popular with families, commuters and retirees, focusing on sustainability from the ground up," he added.
All Pearcroft Homes' properties feature such things as air source heat pumps, solar panels, smart technology for energy management, and instant hot water.
So far, ten have been built or are under construction and a further 70 are in the pipeline.
All completed projects have achieved A+ energy performance certificate (EPC) ratings, and average negative carbon emissions of -0.5 tonnes.
Founded in 2023 by Martyn Balm and Kevin Harris, Peracroft Homes specialises in constructing homes that aim to go beyond net zero.
Last year, the company also launched a five-year energy bill promise - that it will pay the energy bill if it exceeds the standard charge within the first five years of someone moving in.
